Sweet Anther Honey is a honey company focused on spreading awareness on and working to reverse pollinator decline. The brand wants to distribute information on pollinator decline and give people the tools to help reverse it. Each jar of honey is sold with wildflower seeds and an instructional booklet in order to achieve this.

Process

Company Name

A mindmap I made to generate words that could be in the company name. I ended up calling the company “Sweet Anther Honey” because the Anther is the part of the flower that produces pollen, which is important to pollinator survival, honey production, and flower reproduction.

Logo Ideation

The waggle is a dance that bees do to communicate with each other where resources like flowers are. I thought this tied in nicely with the company's goal, so I tried a few variations using the shape of the dance. Ultimately I decided to move in a different direction because I felt without prior knowledge, the logo was not communicating enough about honey.
